I'm slightly cringing that I have a "blog" because it's not really like me, but I am passionate about living a balanced lifestyle and wanted to share my tips and tricks. I believe that balanced living is wayyy more than what you put into your body. Yes, that is one part of it, but balanced living is how you treat yourself. This is a platform for all the things that make me happy. I hope they give you some happiness too! :)
I am a big advocate of the sweatin' and sippin' lifestyle. I am all about eating healthy and working out, but I will be the first one to shotgun a beer at the party (just kidding I can barely chug). I am a former Division I athlete, which may lead you to assume I have been healthy for a while now. Well, no. Unless you consider eating half a box of pasta a day healthy (shout out to my roommate Dani for eating the other half of the box). I was so hungry all the time in college, but I never knew how to properly fuel. Once I graduated, I made it my mission to put my health first. I, surprisingly, had more time to focus on what I was putting into my body. I started meal prepping and doing work outs I actually enjoyed (no more fitness test pressure, whoop whoop). Healthy living is not as miserable or hard as it may seem. It is all about balance, not sacrifice. I often crush pizza at 3AM, but I also love eating wholesome meals.
